Pad-Mounted Transformers

OMEX pad-mounted transformers provide secure, tamper-resistant underground power distribution for utility, commercial, industrial, data center, EV charging, renewable energy, and infrastructure applications. Single- and three-phase designs are available with loop or radial feed, live-front or dead-front terminations, aluminum or copper windings, and mineral oil or natural ester insulating fluid.

Overview

Pad-mounted transformers combine the transformer tank and a lockable high-voltage/low-voltage compartment in a compact ground-level assembly. They are commonly used where underground primary distribution, public accessibility, and a clean site profile are important. OMEX offers standard and custom configurations with project-specific voltage, impedance, fluid, switching, fusing, enclosure, and monitoring options, supported by submittal drawings and application engineering.
